CSA stands for “Community Supported Agriculture”, a model connecting local farmers directly to consumers. As a member, you’ll enjoy:

Access to the freshest, highest quality, and most delicious produce around!

Your veggies get harvested and delivered directly to your pick up site within a day or two. This reduces your “food miles” AND ensures your food dollars go directly to our farm & farmers.

The Shortest possible supply chain

That means you can get to know our farming practices, our values, and how we operate as a team. Plus, you have an open invitation to visit the farm!

Connection with the land and humans growing your food

Participate in a model that ensures more people can access local, organically grown produce. You can choose your price point based on your income and access to wealth.

Sliding scale pricing & low-income options

Are you in for all that? We’re excited to be your farmers!

Our CSA runs for 20 weeks, from June through November. We offer sliding-scale pricing and flexible payment plans. We deliver to Middletown, Newburg, Bacon, and Poughkeepsie.

On the right, you’ll find many more details and answers to frequently asked questions. When you’re ready, you can go ahead and sign up through our online farm store!

What’s included in your share?

I. YOUR 20-WEEK VEGGIE SHARE

We offer two different vegetable share sizes to choose from:

  • The Full Share contains a diversity of 8-9 items, and generally feeds 2-4 people (or 1 veggie enthusiast!)

  • The Half Share (actually about two-thirds the size of the full) contains a diversity of 5-6 items, and generally feeds 1-2 people.

The types of vegetables in your box will rotate throughout the growing season — we grow over 52 varieties! You can count on some typical favorites and you’ll likely be introduced to some new veggies to try, too.

II. OPTIONAL ADD-ON SHARES

We’re proud to partner with neighboring farmers to provide a selection of optional “full diet” add-on shares for those who wish to source even more of their food from local farms. When you check out of the online farm store, you can add weekly shares of fruit and/or eggs.

NOTE:
Add-on shares are only available when purchasing a vegetable share.

Pricing & Payment options

We believe everyone deserves the right to healthy, delicious produce — regardless of their income level. Yet, typically only affluent folks can afford access to local, sustainably grown food.

To expand access, we offer sliding scale pricing and flexible payment plans. Together, we can create more equity, sustainability and diversity in our food system by paying based on our available resources.

During the sign-up process, you’ll be able to select the payment level that best aligns with your income and access to wealth: Lower, Middle, Upper, Contributor.

(If you’re not sure which one fits you best, or this model is unfamiliar to you, we offer some guidelines to consider.

  • The “Middle Income/Wealth” payment level reflects the market value, and we calculate what goes into each week’s share to hit that mark.

  • Lower Income/Wealth level is discounted ~20%,

  • Upper Income/Wealth level is +20%, and

  • Contributor Income/Wealth level is + 40%.

Solidarity shares are discounted at least 40%, or free.

Share Cost

This cost includes the vegetables themselves, as well as an admin & distribution fee of $3/wk, which helps offset the significant expenses of packaging materials, delivery labor, fuel, pick up coordination and/or staffing — which are all expenses that are well beyond the actual production costs of growing the food.

Full Vegetable Share

$550 - $975

20-week season
($695 = Middle level).

Half Share
$370 - $650

20-week season
($465 = Middle level).
